Does anyone know if you can get an FR F2 in the States? I've got a fledgling French firearms collection. MAS 36, MAS 49, and a MAS 49/56. I love the look of the FR F2, I've tried looking around but can't seem to find one for sale. Are there really just none of them in the US?

Wow, a fresh tripfag and already wasting no time to shit up the board with your faggotry. How about you buy one of those US made firearms and kill yourself with it?
>>33310644
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE brand new tripfag scum who are already shitposting to no end.

You just need to catch them before they hit the ground, OP

There aren't any, because it was produced for the military only.
You could try modding a MAS36
>>33311087
That doesn't make any sense. There are tons of weapons that were made "for the military only," that doesn't stop them from ending up as surplus or in civilian hands.
>>33311113
Top end up as surplus, the military would have to sell them off. That's not as common as it used to be.
>>33311120
The FR F2 is from the 70s-80s, m8. There are plenty of 1980s-era military rifles as surplus. I've heard of a few Frenchies owning FR F1s and FR F2s but they're pretty expensive over there, just wondering if any were imported to the US.
>>33310594
They're still in service, why would they sell off arms they are still using?
>>33311087
>You could try modding a MAS36
They aren't exactly the same though.
>>33311120
Not to mention that the FR F2 is still in active service, unlike the MAS36 and 49/56 which got surplus'd in the 80s when the French army introduced the FAMAS.
>>33311158
>>33311162
Damn, that's what I was worried about. What about FR F1s? Any of those in the states that anyone knows of? I'm not asking you to do the work for me and find me one, just asking if you've ever seen one for sale and about how much it went for.
>>33311155
>The FR F2 is from the 70s-80s, m8.
Yea, ok, what is your point?
>There are plenty of 1980s-era military rifles as surplus.
They're still being used. They aren't finished with them and they'll probably be destroyed when they are. Christ, you're dense.

What did he say? Damn post is gone :(
>>33313771
It was nuked before it could even be archived.
There are a few, maybe a dozen or two in the states. You'll have better luck finding a Mas 223 than a F2 or a F1 for that matter.

>They aren't finished with them and they'll probably be destroyed when they are.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Why don't faggot governments realize that they can get more value from them by selling them to america than they do from scraping them?
>>33314527
Governments have no profit motive.
>>33314718
"look at what I did, I added to the surplus and/or reduced government waste. Vote for me again."
>>33310594
Looks like some other countries use it as well. Your best bet is for one of them to surplus it and import them to the US, because France sure as hell isn't.
>>33314527
The cost of exporting and shipping them makes whatever profit they'd make not really worth the hassle
>>33310594
It was never sold to civilians. There were still a few floating around on the French market, sold at outrageous price (between 7500 and 12.000€) for an ultimately pretty shitty .308 bolt action with a wood stock.
What was more widespread was the FRG3, a modified MAS36 in 7mm08, still not worth it.

PC points, value signaling and "progressism " are more importants to socialists than a functionning economy and human rights.

It clearly works. Look no further than our own Congress.
>>33314966
Are a couple dozen shipping crates going across the Atlantic really that expensive?

God I love Rand Paul. But he's only one man, and those who side with him are few and far between.
