Is it worrth it? Not really. If you are willing to go with .380 there are smaller lighter options that are more modern AND cheaper. If you want 9mm luger then this isnt your gun. If you want to carry a cool gun then get this gun.

There are better options, ppk is too big for pocket carry and suboptimal for a belt gun. It's okay but new s&w ppk are unreliable pos. 380 is weaker than 9mm but will still penetrate right all the way through a human assuming fmj is used. Majority of 380 hollow points will not penetrate sufficiently to reach vitals - definitely wouldn't recommend any of them other than maybe xtp. Might I suggest the walther pps, glock 43 or m&p shield for your single stack concealed carry needs

Not really. I made the mistake of doing that OP. If you get the real McCoy, they're all steel and weigh a fuckton for what it is. I have a fantastic and very thick belt/quality holster for it and I still notice it. Much more than a loaded Glock 30S (eleven rounds of muh 45).

A Ruger LCP II took it's place and I've. never looked back. 10/10 fantastic gun. Just stay away from the original LCP. LCP Custom is decent but seriously.

Yes it's a good gun to carry. Is it the absolute best gun you could choose? No. But it's a good gun, and it's plenty effective when using the right loads. Check out Lehigh Extreme Penetrators. XTP rounds also perform quite well, even through denim.

It's not perfect, but it's perfectly adequate. Until the Glock 26 came out it spent a long time at the top. The shape is just plain comfortable for carry, and you won't find a more accurate gun in that size. Too heavy for pocket carry, but light enough that you won't notice it on your belt. I don't really carry mine anymore, I tend to do either a 1911 or a G43 in the pocket. If I knew I was going to have to use it I would take the PPK over the Glock, becaue I shoot it so much better.
