ITT: We compliment a small arm from a foreign country. I'll start.
Germany, the Mauser 98 is a master piece, and so are all of its derivatives.
>>33289890
>doesn't post superior Gew 98
Thank you Germany for introducing us the walther ppk.
The ultimate compact and small yet fully capable of defense for the conceal carriers around the world.
USA, the AR made huge progress from being utter garbage to being decent talib hunting weapon
bravo!
The Arisaka type 99 (early war). A beautiful firearm built with the strongest bolt and sexiest iron sights. I'm not talking about the aircraft sights, but the shape of the rear and front sight.
If only the caliber was as available as 8mm mauser.
>>33289966
Is the 380acp walther ppk actually a good conceal carry option?
Like is it legit a good gun to go for in terms of conceal carrying?
Isn't the 380acp weaker than the 9mm and wouldn't it have a hard time punching through denim jackets and stopping attackers effectively?
Forgive my ignorance but is it really worth it to get a walther ppk?
>>33290089
No it's actually shit.
>>33290089
Just get it in Bond caliber. That's the only reason you want it. Also in blue, don't be his redneck cousin and get a fucking stainless PPK.
>waiter, miller lite shaken not stirred
>>33289890
I'll give a nod to England and my Lee Enfield NO. 1 Mark III SMLE. She is a 1919 and is so dead on I can hit a heart on the seven of hearts at 60 yards
While I could talk endlessly about France and how they created the best bolt action infantry rifle in history (the Mas 36), I won't.
Belgium. Not only did you make the Mauser a military rifle, not only did you harness the might and genius of John Moses Browning, but you also created the greatest bullpup rifle in the F2000.
Russia, the Mosin Nagant is not completely useless
>>33291642
>fs2000
man i want one. im saving my pennies.
USSR, Makarov is great pistol, very nice
The Swiss and the Finns are the best gun makers on the planet, period.
>>33289890
The M4/AR15 is decent for civilian range shooting purposes.
Dear Russia,
I like the AK-74.
Love, anon.
Dear Russia
I want pic related so very much, so thanks for having it exist.
>>33291642
She looks a bit rusty on the barrel, friend. Pls fix.
>>33292214
Dear Finland,
Thanks for turning a shit rifle into a great shooter with the most beautiful wood to have ever been on a rifle.
>>33292622
Nope, just worn.
Hey czechia/Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic ... I like your rifles
Norway, these little rifles are dreamy. Smooth, handy and accurate.
>>33289953
>mfw bought a Gewehr 98 refurbished by the Weimar Republic in 1920 a couple of months back.
>>33291642
>While I could talk endlessly about France and how they created the best bolt action infantry rifle in history
Please do, this interests me
>>33293712
The Mas 36 is the best bolt action infantry rifle ever made.
>>33293743
That's all you have to say?
Sweden
The M/96 Mauser is an incredible gun and I'm envious of those who own them.
>>33294044
Forgot pic.
>>33291642
Even though it's an old meme, I love how the Famas looks and I really hope that we can get a bunch of surplus ones as France phases them out and Lord Emperor God King Trump releases import laws.
I want a G2 so I can use cheapo GI mags but have a glorious ugly steel bullpup.
>>33289953
This gun sucks the sights obscure too much area around the target
t. Verdun player
>>33293938
Oh, wasn't sure if you were serious. My apologies.
Anyways....its a light (for the time) handy short rifle with good sights, a good trigger (for a service rifle) and is very robust. It's incredibly easy to maintain and probably the easiest to manufacture out of any of its contemporaries. The only "flaws" it has are a lack of a safety and the inability to easily adjust the sights for windage (by the soldier), neither of which is important on a infantry rifle.

>I really hope that we can get a bunch of surplus ones as France phases them out and Lord Emperor God King Trump releases import laws.
It would require congress to repeal the 1968 GCA. Machineguns cannot be imported for sale to civilians.
Congress would then need to repeal the 1986 FOPA, and the ATF would need to ditch the 2005 barrel ban.
ATF Approved my form 6 to import a K98 from Poland, $280
>>33294159
Not going to happen. Even if we had the most permissive import laws in history, French export laws would prohibit it. The best you can hope for is that Beretta, who bought the tooling for the FAMAS, use it to make parts kits or something.
Russia, you make the best shotguns. TsKIB SOO may no one learn your name
>>33294217
>TsKIB
MTs255 gives me a fucking hard on each time.
>>33294196
Sounds like a great rifle, I just wish I could get over its looks
>>33294317
It looks amazing, what are you on about?
>>33294196
They also have trouble hitting the broad side of a barn
>>33294468
No...
>>33294479
Mine couldnt hit shit
>>33294569
And mine outshoots my K31.
Astra model F.
Improved full-auto C96 (schnellfeuer)
The only issue is that it's chambered in 9mm Largo and not 9mm parabellum.
>>33294468
Only if you got one that was used to shoot lots of rifle grenades. Or was badly converted to .308 for import.
>>33294159
Those are wierd FAMASes. The top screw between the bipod and the ejection port shouldn't be there, and the mag release is wrong for the G2.
>>33293687
>tfw can't unsee horse dong after another anon pointed it out
>>33294629
Wish astra was still making those, a C96 without the german autism would be a neat thing to have, though with the NFA and GCA killing anything fun it was probably dead anyway
