New 9mm Jericho's have different internal dimensions than the old one, and as such are unable to take the .41 barrels. This is like the first thing that anyone looking to convert their gun to .41 will learn. Unless OP has an old original Jericho or one in .40, the .41 barrel will not work.

The barrels will "fit" but the slides are slightly different. There were some issues with people blowing their guns up by putting .40 barrels in 9mm slides. It'll fit, but not work as intended. A recoil spring won't fix shit, that bur is from the chamber grinding against the inside of the frame or slide.

I did, I even asked here when I first assembled it if it would okay to fire and the general consensus was yes.
The fact is there's just not very much information on .41 AE out there on account of it being so rare, and even less of people using it with Jerichos in particular.

You can put 9mm barrel in .40 Jericho correct? Just not the other way around? I have both guns and I'm thinking to put 9mm barrel in .40 due to it being slightly beefier. I haven't tried shooting yet but it seems to fit perfectly

Hot ammo would increase wear on some parts, but it's not going to suddenly make you slide take a chunk out of your barrel. That's some sort of fitting issues, parts are going places they are not supposed to be going.

Then again, with how rough the machining on that thing is, there might have been a small bur or something there already that got caught on something. That would fit with it failing on your first round. If you are feeling ballsy, take a file and some emory cloth and smooth out the damage, then try firing it again and see if it catches again.

I have an older imi jericho that's has constant issues with jams. My s/o has a baby eagle that has feeding issues. I like the jericho and i think they are beautiful guns but imo are hit or miss.

I think it looks nice either way, I do kinda prefer the slide mounted safety and flat rear sight from the older models though, makes it easier to get a good grip on the slide when you rack it.
