I end up going with the Striker pretty often, but the maneuverability of the Riot Gun is actually quite a substantial advantage, you turn very smoothly and easily, it can really make a difference if you're being crowded.

What I mean is that there's a lot more margin for error with the Riot Gun, if you notice someone sneaking up on you while you're handling a crowd, it's easy to just turn and deal with him.

It's also very good for the Novistadors, especially when they're flying, as you have good accuracy at a longer distance, and it's easy to adjust your aim in a more fine and fast manner to account for their fast and erratic movement.
