Those paper masks are a pain to fit, I always wind up fogging my glasses when I exhale too much

If you want a good mask, dont get surplus.
Do some research and buy the best civilian one you can. The old surplus ones are mainly a meme and have been replaced for a reason.
>>33210982
the thing is you might want PAPR because half-face doesn't seal with neckbeards
>>33210576
Get a 3M 6800, cheap the filters are reasonably priced and readily available and won't fail on you because it's 50 years old.
A Chemanon recommend the organic gas and acid vapor filter To give you a general covering

Do you want one that's functional or just a cool mask? Because if you want a functional gas mask, get one of 3M's industrial gas masks. If you want something cool that will spook the commies, grab whatever spooky surplus mask you can find and remove the filter. You'd be dealing with pepper spray, not sarin gas so you won't need any toxic materials filtered anyway. Just coverage.
so...lets clarify, we want a mask that filters pepper spray, mustard gas, and i can paint the house with, also, what if zombies ....lol is air born....i am willng to buy the basic cover mask, but i also want the end of the world filters option aswell
What about EYE PRO. breathing is great but what about protecting eyes. seperate system? or you have a mask that deals with both? has anyone tried shooting with a mask on, how fucked is cheek weld?

Watch some youtube vids to see where the straps are supposed to go on your head.
With the filter cartridges off, use your palms to cover the holes and attempt to breath in. Repeat breathing in with your head tilted to the sides and up and down. Then cover only the outlet with your palm and try breathing out. Again with your head tilted up, down and to the sides. If you feel like you can breath in or out, the mask isn't fitted properly and you run it risk of breathing in fumes if you choose to wear it. Adjust the straps if needed.

Eotw filters will be multigas cartridges that specifically protect against organic vapor and acid gas. They'll have a P-100 prefilter. This is the combo that OSHA and the CDC recommend for use against CW agents including mustard gas and both G and V series nerve agents.
You can find these filters in hardware and paint stores, for $30 or less per pair.

Search for MSA or 3M full face respirator on ebay, theyre cheap as fuck on there. Buy whatever P100 filters fit it, most models have activated charcoal filters too which filter out some chemicals like amonia gas. Pic related was third in on the search, $30 unused MSA mask.

For claritys sake the activated charcoal filters I mentioned are the organic vapor ones some other anons previously mentioned, just couldnt remember the name.
>>33210982
Thanks m8
activated charcoal filters are good enough for tear gas and CS gas.
>>33214570
Good to know, might buy one for welding.
>>33214570
are these beard-approved?
>>33215543
No.
Pretty much the only gasmasks that you can use with a beard are the full-hood type ones or SCBAs used by firefighters.
If it relies on sealing to your face it's not gonna work with a beard.

Have a super-informative pic about hazardous fillers
If I pull that off will you die?
