British ones are actually quite simple to put together, especially if you know some basics when it comes to sewing and tailoring. I did some living history events for the War of 1812 in full 49th Regiment of Foot kit. I imagine American uniforms from that era would be equally as simple, probably more so considering how many resources American reenactors have access to compared to Canadians. No experience with continental European uniforms though, so I can't comment on those.

Death head cavalry uniforms are also great looking

I've always wanted to own a Wehrmacht's NCO uniform. Not too special snowflake like the Waffen-SS (which every naziboo wants to roleplay as), not too generic cannon fodder rank and file, but still enough to stand out.

first of all, its' not a formal uniform its' called a waffenrock

the uniform you have in the picture is made of tweed, it has the correct cuffs, but the belt is the wrong color. Should be brown. also there should be a breast strap with it. this is an SS uniform. so there should be an eagle on the sleeve, but NOT the breast pocket as you can see
everything else looks correct

depending on the color of the piping of the shoulder boards. It will tell you what branch he's in.
from memory. White is infantry. pink is tanker, red is artillary, yellow is signals, green is i forget.

If you cannot find that particular belt, look for russian uniforms of east berlin. Ebay. from 1946 up until the last 50's. Their unifrom was as close to a national socialist uniform from the 40's as you can get
the belt is the same "almost" a person like me could tell the diff.
but to most of the heathens, they wouldn't be able to notice.

also the shirmutz is "almost" the same. the only dif between a german war shirmutz and an post war east german shirmutz is the east german shirmutz doens't have the double piping around the cap head band.*small but people like me notice.

The brownshirt was my great grandfather, he died in 1940 after he had an accident and got an infection that got worse over a couple of weeks and since there was no penicilin he was kill. At least he witnessed the victory over France before he died. Must have been a great satisfaction after he was so close to Paris in WW1.

My grandfather volunteered after the message of the loss in Stalingrad in school.

He was 16 or 17 then and was sent to Paris to the ZbV protection group of Generalfeldmarschall Hugo Sperrle and did guard duty at his residence for some time, then he was sent to piloting school since he flew gliding planes in the Hitler Youth.

He absolved a couple of flights but we ran out of fuel and planes so he got reassigned to the paratroopers of the 5. Fallschirmjäger Division and fought the Americans in the Eifel region, sneaking up to their position at night and mortaring them and getting the fuck out after a couple of shells being fired.

He then got lightly wounded and sent to a field hospital which was abandoned later on when the Americans arrived so he wandered with a group of 11 fellow soldiers through the landscape and was captured by some American jeep units.

The baker of the town made cake for my grandfather and their comrades which they ate together with the Americans the next day and since my grandfather was fluent in english the American officer offered him a seat in the jeep while the others had to walk.

I was partially raised in the US and Brazil due to the jobs of my parents. So I knew that in other countries you give an oath every morning to the flag in preschool.

At first I defended the Nazis while believing all the atrocities propaganda just because they were my team and it doesnt feel right to be against your team.

Most kids draw swastikas at some point in their lives or build something like that with legos and I notices how in Germany the teachers would freak out and even in elemntary school they spoke about the "bad things" we have done so everytime somebody called you a Nazi, like a turk or in tv or some american in Call of Duty you would feel bad, get goose bumps and try to explain how much you are not a nazi.

This lead to me becoming a meme edgy Nazi just out of defiance til I was 17 or something when I became more right wing libertarian, then at age 22 I started realising that libertarianism is as much of a utopian pipe dream as is communsim and I realized that you are part of a collective by bith, if you like it or not. And if your collective doesnt exist anymore there wont be freedom for you at all.

I started reading Mein Kampf, Hitlers tabletalk and going on /pol/ and now at age 24 I am seriously convinced that Hitler was right and we were the good guys.

When I look at a swastika I dont feel that edgy excitement anymore but just luck.

Definitely a repro with a bunch of mistakes.
The pink piping on the tunic shows it as a panzer crew uniform, but those were black (pic related). The yellow piping on the cap is for signal/intel corps.
The collar tabs also look off. SS Totenkopf would have the skull on one of the tabs and then their rank on the other.
