There are tons of cases of a home invader eating a load of 00 buck to the upper chest, diving back out the window and running 3 blocks before collapsing. Or officers dumping entire magazines into a suspect with little to no effect. Or the infamously shifty M855 used in Somalia that had little effect on Skinnys. Bullets are actually pretty shit at incapacitating people.

At range they slow em down a bit.
a 338 has the same stopping power as a 357 at 800m +. So i'd rather a helmet then no helmet.
