>Why would you buy that?

>there is no point in owning one when an AR does everything
>would rather spend the money on a AR and call it a day.

What do you have in mind?
>not diversifying your gun collection
Faggot
>>33172744
Well, objectively this is true. Unless you just want to be different or you are a collector, there is no practical reason to get something other than an AR.
Nothing wrong with either of those things either. I'm a huge gun hipster myself.

that you can own/buy have an interest in guns/weaponry for reasons other than buying something for a utilitarian purpose.
basically people who think you can only buy the latest and greatest tool on the market can go fuck themselves.

>collecting guns that you never shoot
Fucking faggot

I preordered an HMG stg and people won't stop telling me this shit
>>33172836
desu I'd get one too
>>33172795
Reliability in insanely adverse conditions. Not the "hurr ARs are jamomatic" meme but there's a reason the Alaskan State Troopers use Galils.
>>33172877
That's a very, very specific instance and truth be told can probably be achieved with an AR as well. But I'll cede the point.
>buys something other than an ar15 or glock 19
>later complains in a thread when snowflake gun cannot do x like an ar15 or glock 19
>>33172744
I would never own an AR, simply because it feels so gimmicky.
>LOOK AT THIS NEW TACTICAL OPERATOR TREND FRONT GRIP YOU HAVE TO HAVE INORDER TO BE COOL AT THE RANGE
>CHECK OUT THIS NEW MAGAZINE
>CHECK OUT THIS NEW UPPER
bla bla bla
Feels like Legos for adults.

What can an ar15 do which an AK/SCAR/sg/bullpub cant?
>>33172818
Pff, speak for yourself, loser.
>>33173269
>Feels like Legos for adults.
Basically what it is desu
>>33173269
It also happens to be the least expensive and most broadly capable weapon available to the american public ever. You can go from dedicated 800 yard target shooting rifle to full auto simulator and anywhere in between in two minutes. If you need a purely utilitarian rifle for anything short of shooting large game, an ar-15 is your best option.
