I was thinking of getting pic related for my range pistol but then I read around somewhere that doing that would turn it into an SBR.

How much dose a tax stamp cost, $200? Would you spend that much on a 50$ accessory? Why dose anybody care if I bolt a stick onto the end of my gun?

Although im sure this is bait, i'll bite. Adding a vertical foregrip to your handgun turns it into what the ATF classifies as an "AOW" (any other weapon). To register as an AOW you must pay a $5 tax stamp.
