What's the deal with this gun? I know they made civilian exports that were semi auto, but i cant seem to find em anywhere for sale? Besides having a under powered cartridge is there anything wrong with them from a mechanical or tactical standpoint? They look cool as hell and id love to have one.

>is there anything wrong with them from a mechanical or tactical standpoint?
No, not really. Maybe some people wouldn't like the packaging, but it's fine.
>>33155391
czechpoint usa gets a good number of them in stock in batches that sell out frequently. $499 is dealer $599 is MSRP/Direct sale price
>>33155391
Considering that SMGs have essentially been phased out as obsolete for military use at this point yes, there is something wrong with it. That's not to say it wouldn't be somewhat useful as a police or security arm.
>>33155391
Keep an eye on gunbroker. You can buy parts kits for $300 and stripped receivers for another $300. Assembly is easier than an AR.
It's a really weird little gun, but it's hilariously accurate as a pistol. I ring steel consistently at 75-100 yards, easily. It's a shitty rifle. Stock wiggles due to the dovetail adapter. The stock is supposed to rest in the crook of the receiver but due to the adapter, the stock is too far back to sit there.
Fun gun, people are always wondering what I have in .32 auto and are pleasantly surprised when I show them.
>>33155391
>is there anything wrong with them from a mechanical or tactical standpoint?
nope, functionally very sound (although you will want to use euro made 7.65 browning)
>They look cool as hell and id love to have one.
yes they do, and i do as well
>>33155467
>>33155391
I want one so bad. czechpoint never has them available and it pisses me off. All I want is to KLOBB
>>33155705
Laxammo always has Fiocci for pretty cheap. I stock up when it's on sale. My gun doesn't like PPU for whatever reason
>>33155740
>it's klobberin time
>>33155534
Huh. I always thought they were .380
>>33155953
There's a Makarov version too.
>>33155740
>czechpoint never has them available
They were just in stock a month ago.
They go pretty quick though.
Sign up for their newsletter, that's a start.
>>33155953
Newer versions were remade in larger calibers than .32
>>33155391
A lot of civilian versions have the rate reducer mechanism removed
I really want one but not spend 500$+ worth of dollerydoos to get one kind of want
>>33155391
>east bloc .30 caliber smg
>not in 7.62x25
>>33155534
OP Here, I was wondering if you had to get those tax stamped, or is the dinky little stock even considered a stock.
>>33156861
>I was wondering if you had to get those tax stamped
yes, you need a stamp to legally own them in that configuration.
>is the dinky little stock even considered a stock
it shouldn't be, seeing as how it was intended for use as a cheek-brace. If the SIG-brace doesn't count as a stock, the Vz.61's thingamajig shouldn't count as one either.
>>33156928
That sucks major dick. without that stock the gun looks like 30% less cool and i dont want to fill out a shit ton of paperwork and pay an extra 200 dollars for a small piece of wire.
>>33156973
You could weld the stock shut. It would still be removable for cleaning but I believe if it's welded shut you'd be fine. Guy with the klobb SBR here, trust me It's not worth the paperwork. I'd honestly write the ATF and ask their opinion.
>>33155391
Ian-Sempai made a video on this.
>>33156661
It's .32 caliber you mong
>>33155705
what's wrong with feeding it americlap .32 ACP?
is it too hot for it?
>>33155391
It's a sweet little gun. Would buy again. It's picky about ammo, you cannot use HP ammo. You need round nosed fmj like the stuff prvi makes or it won't be 100% reliable. I had anywhere from 0-3 failures per mag with flat nosed ammo.
Mechanically, I love how it works on the insides, and it's the easiest gun I've ever field stripped, by a long shot.
It's relatively small vs other smg pistols too, much closer to a full sized handgun than the heavy rifle feel of an ak pistol or something. .
>>33155391
Google Czechpoint usa.
Im pretty sure its the first thing to come up if you Google vz 61 as well.
I have one, it jams up sometime with truncated cone ammo. Fucking Winchester. Works best with sellier&bellot I find
>>33160249
>Winchester
That's what was jamming mine up a bit.
Need to have 100% round nosed fmj for reliability.
>>33159895
the opposite, not hot enough
>>33155391
Shame you americunts have to pay extra for the proper, braced version. It is ridiculously fun gun to shoot. As >>33156928 shown you are supposed to put it into the corner of your mouth. It is damn pleasant to aim with it then and when you shoot it just makes you giggle. Would recommend.
>>33159854
.311 bore nigga
>>33159734
who?
>>33155740
I bought a .380 from czechpoint last month. You just have to keep an eye on their website.
I love this gun. It's easy and fun to shoot.
>>33155391
This is my favorite pistol that i own, i bought a parts kit and stripped reciever and assembled via youtube, so i got my diy kick out of it, then after shooting it i just fell in love with it, accurate ,soft shooting, just really fun. Even changing mags is fun, because to chamber you just slap its ass and the bolt release disengages
>>33164377
.... .32 is a 7.65 diameter, do you want me to go get a box of my .32acp out and take pictures?
>>33164983
I would love a .380 vz, but the mags looks like shit. So I'll probably go with a .32 and use it to hunt rabbits and squirrels
>>33165886
>but the mags looks like shit
I agree. I'd rather have steel curved mags. Tbh the main reason i like the vz61 is because it's steel and rugged looking like an AK.
>>33155391
My buddy bought one last year, .32 acp, waiting on his cuckstamp approval for his overfolder (which he may or may not have affixed to it already). He had to get it engraved, so he had the engraver add KLOBB in comic sans for the fuck of it.
Fun little gun, we were hitting 8" groups at 50 yards too
the charging knobs are annoying and you have to watch your grip lest they buttfuck your thumbs.
>>33166157
>which he may or may not have affixed to it already
this, do this
>>33164987
webm related, i wish we had recorded the bump fire too
>>33165055
it's actually 7.94 if you want to be pedantic
point is they're both .311/.312 diameter
>>33159920
It only took 50 rounds of round ball to break mine in and now it eats anything I give it.
>>33164983
>>33158700
This is from memory, of a half read letter at that, but a removable welded shut stock that comes off without tools is still tax stamp territory.
