Hi /k/,
I bought pic related for a decent price a few months back. I'm more of an AK and rifle guy and tend to think of pistols as last ditch/bump in the night pieces. Are these worth a fuck? All opinions appreciated. I'm not sentimental.
They are fine. it may be worth it to you to get an APEX sear and polish the drop safety plunger thoget rid of the gritty pretravel...

just get a trigger package and its golden
I keep hearing about the Apex parts. I also hear that the M&Park triggers are ass but this one doesn't seem too bad?
But hey, if the trigger can be reliably improved then why not?

Your gun isn't a standard model though. That one was called something like the pro or competition model. I would think it would have a better trigger in addition to the other features.
Nice gun by the way. What caliber?

Thanks anon. I picked it up from a retired cop that said he shot some competition with it. It seems smoother than my XD's did and it fits my hand well. I like Glock and XD, etc but they feel like I'm shooting a Duplo lego.

Apologies anon, but good old 9mm.

Sounds good. Should be a nice shooting gun and the 9mm won't be too expensive shoot. You might ask the seller if he had any work done on it, like the trigger, just out of interest.
I have a M&P9 myself. My first carry gun. Now that I've handled more guns I realize my trigger isn't great, but I wouldn't say it is trash. What makes a good trigger can be subjective anyway.
BTW, if I had the chance to a get a good deal on one of those I would of been all over it. M&Ps are good guns with great ergos.

Just don't get it wet.

>wet
you mean completely submerged
Nice gun op. I carry the M&P Sheild Performance Center. Ive never had a problem with it, no failures at all. Its an accurate gun and I think the trigger is great. Ive never shot a standard M&P so I couldnt say if its a different trigger or not. I will say that its drastically helped me improve my shooting over other, cheaper pistols Ive owned before.

I wonder if that's an issue with the 2.0 platform?
