Every unit has an armoury (like the rest of the military) that has a nice man with a pleasant demeanor and plenty of patience, who will issue you with anything you request that he has to hand. If he doesn't have it then and there, he'll efficiently process a simple form to have it delivered from an even nicer sort at a central HQ.

These weapons are, in turn, looked after well by the soldiers who sign them out and a healthy relationship between the two parties continues.

Those Geissele 416s are a special order from HK, they come with the rails factory installed.
It may not be bog-standard, but its still an issued weapon. Its not like they're all running around with personalized ACRs and gold plated Tavors
