My family is from germany as well, old school cavalry officers from as far back as 18th century according to my dad and some family papers and stuff I've seen. Gramps on my moms side was an artillery officer. Dunno really what gramps on dads side did in the war... Dad doesn't talk about it and there are no papers on him, just told me he was an officer.

I was in the navy, but ended up as an MP. Didn't make officer. Got some grumbles from dad for that but he's still proud of me. Thanks for reading my blog.
