How hard should you grip your handgun? should it be a firm handshake, or should you cling onto it for dear life?
I'm not talking about the ratio between your support hand and strong hand either. I'm talking about overall.

Enough that you can control it from recoil and not have it limp wrist.

You don't want it too hard. You'll torque the firearm around a lot while shooting, and make trigger control difficult. That said, you don't want it to be so loose to the point that it vacates your hands.
It kind of depends what kind of shooting you're doing. Fast follow up shots will require a tighter grip to help combat recoil, slow long range shooting needs a looser grip to cut down on swaying, and allow for more precise trigger control.
i barely just hold onto it with my finger tips when shooting, it gives me the best over all hold on the gun, and i feel like i have full control.

It's almost like he owns a gun and regularly shoots them.

This was my 7 yard warm up this morning. 4 shots in about 4 or 5 seconds. Trying out some new hand loads.

Grab your handgun the same way you grab your dick
