Probably a feral dog or maybe a coyote.

>wanting to kill a free Biological Anti-Trespasser System
>not offering it meat to stay around and protect your land with you
why
What? OP don't listen to any of these guys, don't kill it for no reason. Just scare it off, maybe fire a couple of rounds near it, call the police so they can deal with it safely, or wait till it passes. Don't kill a lion for being in your property, you could probably end up in some problems.
>>33027894
Unless you keep animals or something that would be in danger of getting eaten by whatever this thing is, don't shoot it. Chances are it will keep to itself if you ignore it. Carry your rifle if you ever need to walk around your property at night in future though.

Idk. One was spotted in Bourbon county a couple years ago and the KYFWD promptly murdered it.

that insurance companies will release mountain lions small enough to control and adapt to a new environment but old enough to be on their own. they then eat all the deer that would otherwise be hit by cars. saves lives and most importantly the insurance companies don't have to pay out on car accidents. cougars rarely hurt anyone and the local governments all insist there aren't any in the area so they aren't obligated to do anything about the cats.
i haven't heard this from anyone who's done this, but i have heard about it from people in the industry.
>>33028506
sorry bud its a cougar they are everywhere
>>33028506
>cows
Ok here is what you do man go buy some rabbits cage them so you can over watch for the cougar, maybe break a rabbit leg. If it is near it will come to investigate. They have large ranges so could take a while.
