What's your preferred brand of self defense ammo /k/?
I've been using Hornady Critical Defense (90gr ftx) in my Pocket 380,and Federal 147gr HST in my 9mm.
For .22: CGI
.40s&w: Winchester
7.62x39: Red Army Standard
>>33027756
147gr hst because it's usually priced lower then other defense ammo
>>33027800
My local stores never have the 147gr, only 124gr. I have to get it online if I want to buy it.
>>33027756
.45 acp or bust
get that weak ass 9 out of here
someone send me this
I'm convinced that the caliber in the magazine is .357 SIG and the one on the laptop plain 9mm.
Am i right with this or just a retard?

9mm 147gr hst

9mm Winchester Defend from the Winchester Train & Defend line. Check it out.
>>33028824
It look like 7.62x25 aka tok ammo. But you are right they are different.
220 grain Buffalo Bore in 10mm.
>>33027794
is red army standard better than tula?
>>33027756
Hornady Critical Duty for my .40S&W and .357 Sig, and Hornady Critical Defence for my .380s.

>9x18
Hornady
>9x19
Cor-Bon
147 gold dot
>>33033266
I also hand load 180 gold dots into 10mm.
Anything that says Gold Dot on it.
>>33033266
147gr gold dots for me as well.
>>33033388
Best way to go out of an MPX and glock 19. Plus subsonic.
9mm: 135gr +P Critical Duty
.300blk: Lehigh 194gr Maximum Expansion
5.56: Black Hills 77gr OTM SMK
>>33033412
It shoots very consistently and has great penetration and expansion out of my gun. I don't shoot suppressed at all so the sub sonic isn't really much of a perk to me honestly.
9mm- Federal HST, 124 or 147 gr
5.56- Black Hills mk262 OTM or TMK 77 gr
>>33027756
something something 124 grain XTP
115s and 147s are stupid for SD because less energy
115s are for range blasting and 147s are for suppressor use
124s are for non suppressor SD
>>33030730
Ayyy, my man
>>33027756
147 HST +P and 7.62x39 XM8
Reminds me I need to buy both soon.
Cor-Bon DPX because it prints just like 115 grn target loads so my POA/POI don't vary from training to reality
For when I unironically carry my Walther PP
For my 941
>You're gonna carry that weight
>>33036342
lol
Reminds me of the iconic Dairy Queen cone.
>12 Gauge
#00 or #4 Buck
>5.56
Q3340 62 gr. HP
>9x19
9BPLE 115 gr. +P+ or HST 147 gr. +P depending on which one, even though I'll be switching to 124 gr. standard pressure.
All my rifles are loaded but the others aren't really go-to guns.
>>33030720
Definitely, but if you're going to use FMJ just use surplus shit. Tula is underpowered as fuck.
>>33036342
I was considering this when I find a nice PPK. How's it feed?
>>33036621
>how's it feed
Reliably. I bought 50 rounds and blasted through them all fast as I could and didn't have an issue.
>124gr hydrashok 9mm
>230gr umc jhp 45acp
>Fiocchi low recoil nickel played 12g
>Any deer slug 12g
>123gr wolf hp 7.62x39
>>33027756
124 gr HST in my 9mms
If i could go back I would get all federal hsts, but i bought a shitload of ranger t 230 +p 45, so it's not exactly bad ammo I have. If i ever get through that, or offload it to someone else, I would do hsts or gold dots, but i doubt Im making the worlds of difference.
Really want a fucking truck gun in 45, would do anything for nfa to repeal + cz evo in 45 acp sbr and suppressed..
.460 Bufalo Bore 360gr flat nose
.357sig Hornady Critical Duty 135gr flex lock HP
12ga Federal Flight Control #1 buckshot
>>33027756
I'm poor so my plinking ammo is also what I carry.
>>33042073
If you can afford to plink you can afford to spend a little extra on some decent carry ammo.
