Eh, not really. Those kind of stocks are expensive because they include the special receiver extension, so factor that in. Magpul's new stuff, the ones with tightening springs like the SL, are tight enough not to need to bother with special stuff like M93Bs and UBRs.

Yes, and as a result of the mounting system sucking so hard I blew a round through 50% of the baffles exploding out the front at an odd angle. Great times.

Yeah it works fine. Use an H2 or H3 buffer and you are good to go. Alternatively if you want to invest a little and keep a collapsible stock, the VLTOR A5 system is supposed to be the solution, though I never found it to be necessary shooting halfway decent ammo.

there's nothing on it that you can see once it's assembled that says BCM unlike their complete uppers. It does say BCM4 on the front of the receiver where the receiver meets with the rail. You can't see it once it is assembled.
