What has been the most intense run of your life so far?

Probably doing suicides with fencing advance/retreat footwork, and 20 or so lunges at each stopping point, all while in full "uniform," except for the face mask.

A story of my buddies

Fire academy

done as a confidence building exercise to show how far you can push before failure, shit suuucked

Fucking brings back memories of high school wrestling for me.
>head coach is a Marine former drill instructor
>assistant and JV coaches were all marines too
>every day of practice was hell
>Couldn't talk, chat with friends on the team, or mumbled anything that wasn't related to wrestling

4 seasons of nothing but pure physical hell. Don't know what kept us coming back, but despite practice being so tough our coaches knew how to make damn good wrestlers. Most our team were either state champions or close runner ups in all weight classes by the end of the season.
All of the coaches heavily encouraged us to enlist in the Marines after high school as well.

Still get a little nervous thinking about running till this day...
