I have both I shoot steel in the AK and brass in the AR both chambered in 223. Steel 223 is Pretty cheap got 500 rounds today at the gun show for 100 bucks.

AKS-74 or AKS-74U.

Both are aesthetic as fuck. Both are dream guns of mine. the 74 for the look of that skeleton folding stock and that pure sex black furniture/OD furniture for them S.T.A.L.K.E.R. feels.

The 74U is far more practical for me as I need something light and small to go with me hiking and fuck it is good looking.

5.45 steel cased can be found rather cheap at gun shows and for surplus. Maybe better if Trump lifts sanctions.

Looks pretty sweet. Is that grip stained green? Looks neat.

Also, what is the law like when it comes to folding stocks and a rifle that short? It is a dream purchase that I think it is time to start saving for, so I'd like to know if I'll need to put a tax stamp into the total cost. One more thing, where can I reliably get a good one, folding stock and all?
