It was always just a photogenic meme and was ever worth buying. Get a BCM bolt and carrier group, or comparable basic bitch tank-tier one and be happy.

>>
>>32957057
lol no. Tripfags coax themselves into outspending one another and then shitpost trying to get other people to buy the same shit to justify their purchase.

You see it now with the RIS II meme. Are block II's cool? Yeah, but it wasn't long ago that Giddy was saying he had no interest in clones and Giddy initially hated his RIS II.

Quick question, why is the M4 barrel shaped so strangely? It's thick, then there's a thin section, and then a thick section to the end.

The only reason I can think of is that it's shaped like that to add weight to the barrel and reduce barrel oscillation while firing. But, I thought that just having a thicker profile barrel would prevent that? Surely it'd be cheaper to just make a thick barrel from the muzzle down to the chamber would be cheaper than machining out certain spots on the barrel, wouldn't it? Or do these sections do something besides adjusting the barrel harmonics?

Anyone know?

True, my alternative is to put the ACOG on the build and MK18 the Block I and put a T1 or CompM4 on it.

IMO, weight is the biggest downfall of low powered variable optics. There are "light" options like Leupold, S&B, and Kahles, but we're talking a difference of 4oz with a $1000+ mark-up for the ladder two. I'm not sure why Leupold is not popular anymore.

you fill out a form 4 with your name instead of the trust's name, you fill out a responsible person form, attach your fingerprints and $200 all in an envelope addressed to them.
make sure you follow the instructions on each form (you have to send multiple copies of specific forms/ give specific forms to a law enforcement agency as notification)

if you do the trust method (which is better because you don't commit a felony everytime you take a shit and leave your suppressor in the presence of a friend/family member) you just say the trust owns the sbr, and you attach your trust as proof that it exists along with the paperwork
>>
>>32958701
form 1****
4 is suppressor
1 is manuf of suppres or sbr
>>
>>32958701
Form 1 bruh bruh
>>
>>32958661
you know the form 1 should be self explanatory mostly

you'll need to head to your local PD to get finger print cards
you can take a picture yourself
>>
>>32958690
Those are all old
>>
>>32958701
If the sbr is locked up then it's ok to leave it right?

>>32958719
thanks
>>
>>32958701
But everyone on the trust needs to get printed, and how often are your friends/family going to be actually using the thing without you present?
>>
>>32958715
yea i caught that right after i commented.

and why the fuck did everyone even freak out so much about 41F? the fingerprints of respons people was that big of a deal?
you only need the fingerprints of everyone on your trust UPON submission of a new ATF item to your trust, right?

>i have 500 respons members sharing my suppressor on my trust.
>oh I want to buy another suppressor.
>ammend trust so i'm only responsible person
>send only my prints to ATF
>send submission
>choose to readd 499 people here
>get stamp back
>or choose to readd 499 people here
woah I didnt have to send 500 respons person forms fuck
>>
>>32958773
>If the sbr is locked up then it's ok to leave it right?
if you have a safe that only you know the combination/key to that's good enough
>>
>>32958791
its a cabinet but yeah only i have the key
>>
>>32958777
they only need to get printed upon adding the stuff to your trust.
if you own nothing in your trust, you can be the only respons person and just ammend an arbitrary amount of people as respons people after you get the NFA item back.
they don't need to be notified upon trust amendments, which completely kills the purpose of the prints in the first place. (unless they want to arbitrarily say you can't do this)
>>
>>32958789
you just went full retard
>>
>>32958805
what i want to know is if i've already sent fingerprints and photos how long is that good for, or do i need to send them every single fucking time
>>
>>32958826
They already clarified that you have to send prints and photos for every responsible party in the trust.
>>
>>32958826
prints are only a month almost positive. photos are like <1 or <2 years.

>>32958811
>Once an application has been approved, no documentation is required to be submitted to ATF when a new responsible person is added to a trust or legal entity. However, should a responsible person change after the application has been submitted, but before it is approved, the applicant or transferee must contact the NFA Branch for guidance.
why wouldn't you take advantage of this rule
>>
>>32958837
yes i fucking know that

>>32958844
wow look someone that understood me fine and gave an answer
we that fucking sucks since thats the hardest part of it.

i wonder how those silencershop kiosks are going to work
>>
>>32958844
and a continuation of how stupid trusts are. I can write in anyone into my trust as a responsible person, make them pay me $3000, then write myself out of the trust as a responsible person.
oh no I just sold my NFA items without filing the paperwork because I never owned the items, my trust did!

I could explain that the MBT has a better break, harder staging wall, ideal pull weight and costs half as much but that's been said many times. Geissele is cast metal, doubly overpriced, but is also high quality.

If you take price into consideration, you'd be a fool to buy an SSA-E over an MBT.

Still pretty awesome. About 10 years ago I was working a job where we ended up cleaning out this old lady's attic. Her husband had passed and she told us to just keep/pawn anything useful we found and to not even run it by her, no exceptions.

Ended up finding two muskets in their own wood/glass cases I knew were ancient and I ran it by her anyway. She told us to do what we want with them. I obviously wanted to keep them, the other 3 knob gobblers I was with were not so enthusiastic. Took them to an antique place that weekend that deals with a lot of old/rare guns and found out they were Civil War era originals. Got a few thousand per musket, which was nice, but I should have just fist fought those faggots and taken them home.

It's close enough, but don't expect your groups to improve. Wolf Gold gives about 2 moa out of a 1 moa barrel. Despite that though, it's great to shoot paper and two liters with.

the other thing i worried about is poi, i know that out of my 14.5, mk262, cbc77gr, and xm193 all hit the same for windage with the 193 being 1.5" high at 100m.

i hope wolf hits the same windage and the elevation is that important.
