A domestically produced (important for a 2nd world country during the cold war) .308 that is highly accurate? Sounds sensible. Weight has never mattered to the Swiss since they dont deploy anywhere, so any fight they get in will be defensive and therefore static. As for ergos, idk what you mean, the ones Ive held were very comfy.

To be fair it was the closest thing to a controllable full auto battle rifle. FG42 brake, bipod, and straight line stock. It was also heavy as fuck which helped.
