Primary arms sells a red dot with an EOtech like reticle that looks great even with my astigmatism

My aimpoint pro looks kind of like a starburst indoors for me too.

vortex and leupold make 1x prisms. the leupold is used by my county SERT team, and its nice. trijicon makes 1.5x acogs which would also work.

finally, 1-6 or 1-4 power scopes. bigger and heavier but options for magnification

You want a prismatic sight or a scope. I have shit astigmatism too. I went Monstrum Tactical. They look cheesy, but are cheap, hold zero, and are more crisp than my old EO Tech and my dad's aimpoints. Give them a look.

How blurry? I have a mild astigmatism, and still use an Aimpoint T1. If I put it on the higher settings, it will completely wash out, but at lower settings its still functional. Just not ideal.

You could try a low power scope, maybe a 1x prism? I'm kind of curious about them, but worry about eye relief, bulk, and weight.

If you use a total cowitness with a ghostring suurounding the dot it tends to help. Also, wear polarized glasses

I have an astigmatism and wear glasses. Small MOA dots look blurry but eotech style ones look fine. I just deal with it

Why op? Just caveman eotech your front sight post. Aim with only ak bunny ears and u will be able to defend yourself faster than u would having to turn on a optic/adjust it. I dont see why people fall for the shilling
