Information is extremely limited due to the nature of North Korea, but their magnum opus when it comes to armour is the Pokpung-ho II "Storm Tiger", a derivitive of the T-62 with upgrades in armor and armaments. Speculation includes possiblity of composite armor (the hull appears to be reinforced with additional metal in oposition to the stock T-62's 102 mm at 60°) in addition to ERA blocks, with arms and active defenses including smoke grenades and the 2A46 firing locally manufactured AP, alongside a 14.5mm KPVT anti-aircraft HMG. Fire control is computerized, and includes an infrared sensor (speculated TPN-3-49 or TPN-4), and a laser rangefinder. Last estimate was a total of 250 vehicles including the older Pokpung-ho I, the amount of these in an operational state unknown.
