It's not Mosins on Mars, but the Russians have a Makarov in every Soyuz capsule inside the survival kit. This is what the Russians used to use before ammo became unobtainum after the USSR broke apart and they just went with surplus Makarovs. TP-82 combo rifle/shotgun/flaregun developed just for cosmonaut survival.
