Every time you fire that thing, the recoil is going to push your shoulder back, and whip your head to one side. After about 20-30 rounds, you're going to have the headache from hell. Looks cool, but not practical.

The people who put stuff like this in movies should actually go out and shoot a few pistols and rifles. Maybe, they would be a little more realistic about guns.
