here's the fun: they are relying on their AShMs to get the job done with minimal assitance from the launch vessel. In the entire history of the world, there have been 51 AShMs fired against targets with defenses, and exactly zero of those missles hit. ECM and Chaff almost necessitate the use of a large powerful radar to burn through, and this means the dinky chinese boats are effectively worthless unless they go all dumb fire like the iranians.

Can the radar contacts of 052Ds/055s not be shared with the rest of the fleet?

Are the AShMs on those other craft not deadly and able to be slaved to the former's locks?
