Bumping for OP. Looking at the fastfire for my SBR for price and compactness.

Depends on what you are putting it on, I've had to Burris Fast Fires and both broke due to recoil.

I have a DP and I like it. It's rather large but works for a full size double stack 45. I like that it turns off and turns back on when you pick it up and I've found it does a pretty good job with auto brightness. No need to remove it to change the battery which is nice. only down side really is its size but you also get a large window. I want a RMR next.

I have the Vortex Venom and haven't really used it too much, but I defiantly liked it when I put it on my Mossberg MVP. It hold's a zero and does it's job.

I have also broken two RMRs (both slide mounted on milled glocks) but trijicon replaced them for free so I can't really complain.

Optics that are fixed to the slide take quite a beating and breaking seems to be a matter of when, not if.

thinking about putting an RMR on my G26. If you have done that, pls post your experiences. thx.

What's with that snag hook? Why didn't they just go full housing like the Zeiss one?

>>32899161
Yep.
If you're slide mounting though, Shield RMS is the new one to look at. No real reviews out there yet though.
