Hey /k/
I've recently been interested in making a great edc messenger bag. I'm a local trucker. I carry a berretta m96, 2 extra clips, a basic Samsung tablet (use for my music and shit, connected bluetooth radio). Would like to carry some basic tools, some lock picks, a few basic survival things, and a great flashlight I can connect to a retractable cord.
Any suggestions on bag or gear?

What kind of stuff do you carry in the cab? Do you already have a good first aid kit? Road flares?
>>32898703
I got one. I was more focused on a roll out for some sockets, adjustable wrench, and such

>who gives a fuck
Well in that case I hope you don't mind if I call you a cocksucking faggot then
>>32898712
I have a great crowbar for tire thumping and for prying, that's it other than fluids for the truck. No first aid, no flares but I have reflective triangles.

A multitool, obviously. Perhaps a lighter/matches and a very basic medkit (bandages, gauss, peroxide)
Why the lockpicks though?
5.11 Moab 6
perfect for what you need

.....shit, that looks fucking great
>>32898874

messenger bags look like purses
why would you put a gun in your man purse?
oops need a gun better check my purse
why would you need lock picks are you sure you're not a meth head looking to steal some shit to pawn?
>>32898773
No, not really, because you're a schmuck that couldn't actually contribute anything to the thread
>>32898788
Get a really good first aid kit. That way you can render assistance if you ever come upon an accident.
>>32899492
I carry my berretta on my hip.
>>32898658
Lol. You saved and used my edc pic? Alrighty
>trucker
Get a C96
>>32898897
M85
>>32898900
It's a monkey fist. I'm a sailor so I like to tie knots
>>32899492
Also I was needing lock picks or a slim jim because I could of used them when I needed to open someone's door after they passed out from an accident and not bust out their windows. Happens quite often, the first aid would help also.

If that's your dude, what pistol is that? Just liked it for hours good it looked.

Bag: randy looking duffle/jansport ruck is best. Avoid suitcases our anything fancy looking because that attracts attention from thieves.
Multitool: No exp here.
light: Surefire G2X Pro. As a trucker you should look into a headlamp as well for hands free use. Petzl TacTikka are great. Carry extra batteries for both.
Knife: Mora Companion. Cheap and good to go. If you need something more tactical, Cold Steel SRK is the next best thing.
Water: Have a bottle of water and a few protein bars in there, you never know.

Yeah after I posted and saw that. It happens.
>>32900498
Lol. All good. Haven't had coffee yet myself

The owner of the truck (flatbed steel hauler) He will put random padlocks on the truck and then forget to give me the keys all the time. So I keep random paper clips and hair pins to pick the locks. He gets annoying after awhile and I figured since I like to pick locks on my free time because boredom , get a professional set but I don't know where to go.

bag:
511 rush moab 6
flashlight:
Klarus XT11S
bright af, several different group modes (tactical, outdoor), rugged and rechargable through USB cable
I'd also carry a multitool (leatherman wave) and knife (it's up to you if it's a folder or fixed blade), along with a first aid trauma kit (also get training on how to use it)

I love guys who advertise that they have valuable shit in there. God bless your dad for funding you so well!
Second the headlamp recommendation. Get one with rechargeable batteries. They are outstanding for working on vehicles. I'm a mechanic and have several scattered about the house and shop.

how does it shoot? you like it?
