When staff and O start talking about MDCOA they literally come up with the craziest what-if scenarios and try to use gear to prep for it. So you find yourself dragging 2 35 pound javelin anti tank missiles across the desert in an area where the heaviest vehicle the enemy has is a toyota corolla because some captain and gunny got jerking eachother off over how woefully unprepared we are if the taliban somehow show up with armored vehicles.

For a platoon element, one AT4 per section on a rifleman, one M320 per section with plenty of rounds on a grenadier, one M249 per section (maybe swap one with a M240, for one in the platoon), have one rifleman stick a belt of M249/M240 ammo in his bag, satcom on the radio guy, raven on the last rifleman, and a few frags on the SGT/SSGT are about the lowest I feel comfortable with in urban movement. Rural Iraq and Afghanistan, I want two motherfucking M2010s in my platoon minimum and a few M32s disbursed through the platoon instead of M320s. Skip the SAWs, every gunner gets a mufuckin 240 and you're going to deal with it.

Engagements in the city are one sided when you have a few AT4s and 40mm to lob through windows, and once we had an AT4 save us from a box truck screaming towards us down a highway. Clark was a fucking righteous shot with those.

Out in the middle of bumblefuck nowhere, especially Afghanistan, I think having the capability to reach out and pop skulls cause the most effect against the enemy. Sniper element scared the piss out of them they'd often run off after Jones and the Suix dude who's whack ass name I've forgotten let off a few rounds with the Barrett. We usually had them toting the M2010 or M110 though because the Barrett required them both for one weapon system.
