I didn't notice a big difference using one versus the other MPs, they always feel really stiff to me. I use my index finger on all the left side controls which is really easy on Rugers but a bitch on anything with a left side decocker or tiny release like a P226.

No the trigger is most certianly not. It is the worst trigger in any of Sigs guns, by far. Just because it has a lower bore axis than a 226 doesn't mean it's still not high. It's still fat as fuck (8mm thicker than the full size m&p or g17).

It doesnt just have a lower bore axis than the p226 it has one of if not the lowest bore axis of any sigs. furthermore the gun is .2" thicker than a g19 with the full size and .1" thinner than a g19 with the sub compact. really not seeing much of an argument for it being worse than its contemporaries...

I love mine. I decided on safety to give me more carry choices. I'm not actually conscious of operating the safeties on the pistols I have with them. It's called practice. Shields are a good CCP choice. Getting something initially for concealed carry is good. It is the most likely self defense use.

DAO 229 trigger is much cleaner than the P250s, I'm beginning to think you haven't shot either. It is thicker than the G17, which isnt exactly known for being ergonomic, and 25% thicker than an M&P.
The bore axis is still atrocious.

It's a servicable pistol, but that's really all that can be said about it.

I've got one, it was a gift. Apex trigger kit is a must. I'm going to get some aftermarket sights soon.

Speaking of the sights, when I first got mine, I shot wide left without any improvement at 200 rounds in. Shot my buddies shield and hit the target every shot. Turns out my front sight sits to the right a couple millimeters and it's fucking up my accuracy. And those sights are wedged in there tighter than dick skin.
