380 thread! What do yall consider the best teeny little pistol of this type? I'm looking at the pic related (LCP Custom) or a Beretta Pico
>>32850095
They're all pocket pistols meant for CCW and meant to use when life is in danger and at close range.
In my opinion there's very little difference. I own a kahr p380 but I'd have no problem if it was a Ruger lcp honestly. Would of saved ~500 and been able to purchase another gun.
I have the original lcp. I actually like the trigger more than the custom. First thing I replaced were the god awful sights though.
breddy gud peestol. 10/10

.380fag here
Love my LCP.
It's a reliable and for its size incredibly accurate. Go for it OP
Micro Eagles
I sometimes carry a bersa thunder 380. Its really reliable and accurate also really cheap usually bout 300 ish.
Not really a "teeny" .380, but I fucking LOVE my early Interarms PPK/s.
>>32850095
I've got the version you got pictured. Definitely worth the extra 20-$30 over the base model. Kinda wish I had gotten the stainless version since I carry it in a pocket holster up front (breaks up the outline fine in khakis or carpenters jeans). Haven't had any corrosion problems. Wipe slide daily, break it down every two weeks. Shoots much better than I expected. Having 0 problems with Remington hollow points.
OP here, am I alone in disliking the changes made in the LCP II?
>>32850491
Haven't palmed one yet. I just got mine 18 months ago. Scared I'll like the new one better.

S&w bodyguard 380
Actually has usable sights, slide locks back on last round, and has safety so you don't blow your femoral out.
>>32850244
Micro Eagle is the only gun uglier than the fucking desert eagle full size
>>32850598
Bodyguard's great
>>32850244
/Googles it
It has a gas-assisted action? Like an AR? Does that make it immune to getting limp wristed or something...?
>>32850095
Why do people piss and moan about the gen 1 LCP triggers?
For a dao, they're pretty pleasant and about as light as I'd want in a pocket gun.
Also, I've heard the pins like to walk out with sustained use, is there any truth to this and has ruger addressed it?
>>32850329
Do your hollow points penetrate good enough? I always figure if a got a sub 9mm, I would go for fmj.
>>32851618
Different homosexual. Don't see how it could. There wouldn't be a buffer spring ever worthwhile to decrease recoil in a pocket gun.
I call my .380 the "cricket". Bitch likes to hop up when fired.
>>32851722
Nope. Always run fmj for .380
Keltec p3at, its where ruger got the idea. I carry a p32
I really like my P238, but if I were to do it again, I'd just get an LCP.
>>32851592
You are the 1st person here I've ever heard say the bodyguard is great.
Most don't like it's long trigger before it breaks, and then it's long reset.
I looked at one before settling on an LCP.
Sig P238 is the all-around most accurate and enjoyable to shoot in my experience.
>Full-metal construction absorbs recoil beautifully
>Real 3-dot sights
>Extended mag and the VA grips on some models gives makes for a great feel in your hand
>Full features like slide-lock and -release unlike LCP
>>32852090
>VA grips
VZ grips
>>32851952
I have one of those pocket clips on mine that I clip to my shorts when I'm running. That's the only time I carry it, but I would definitely prefer it over nothing. Certainly no fun to plink with though.
>>32851722
>>32851918
Any paticular defensive brand? Just got a LCP myself
On another note, anyone here of the opinion that given how small modern single stacks can be that .380 should be limited to pocket guns nowadays?
>>32851722
Yeah. The basic Remingtons have a tiny hole. Shaped like ball pretty much. Haven't shot the past 10yd. Very acceptable groups. Have 2 boxes of cor-bon I haven't tried yet.
>>32850095
>>32852110
I live somewhere very warm and i pocket clip it to my cargo shorts. I love it but your right plinking with it is a no go. Its just so easy to carry.
>>32850095
anyone have any opinions on the taurus 738?
thought about buying a cheap "pocket gun"
The sig p238 is a great gun.
>>32852078
Most people on /k/ are pussies when it comes to triggers
I have lcp. Cc in bianchi professional at 4 oclock. Lots seem to mention bad sights. This gun is ment for very close sd situations. Not a range gun. With alitle practice 15 yrd 6in groups really aren't that hard. What sights are you expecting from a pocket gun?
>>32850095
I own that little guy!
Love it.
>>about as light as a potato chip.
>>smaller then my hand so it fits anywhere
>>i can get a middle finger and ring finger, just perfectly so when i shoot it, im polite as fuck with pinky out.
>>pistol flips like a mother fucker, so its fun to shoot all buckin broco style (in a not going to be accurate past 21 feet sort of way).
>>holds enough ammo... technically. 6+1
>>looks sexy so on the uber rare occasion when i show it off i'm not embarrassed.
>>i like, never not have it on my since its almost thin as a damn cellphone. its like always in my jacket pocket somewhere. hey where is it? oh yeah here it is.
love this little pocket rocket.
>>32850095
anyone try one of these Kahr CT .380s? I want a .380 but also want something with a bit of size to it. I cant shoot any tiny .380s worth a damn
>>32852286
I have the taurus unlike other tauruses its made in the usa and pretty reliable.
>>32853068
No experience, but why not get it in a 9? Other then recoil the 9 will be better in every way.
>>32853237
NEIN!
>>32850095
get the new LCP2
>>32853237
I have nines, forties, forty- fives, ect
I want a .380
>>32853490
Even for a carry gun? If you plan on using it 9 will perform better. If you already have one then I guess it makes sense. But if not then you can have more power for the same capacity.
>>32853520
look I want a fucking .380, make a recommendation for a .380 or piss off
>>32853640
What this guy said >>32852235
Get the Beretta 83. Deathwish II /10
get the one without the laser, best pistol, my personal carry
/thread
>>32853640
Sorry anon I just was trying to help you.
>>32853520
I hate people like this, Ask A. "BUT B!!!!"
Probably a cuck
>>32853900
Not everyone is Internet smart like you. So what does it hurt to suggest a alternative. All you gotta do is ignore the question.
>>32853640
You should just eat one of the calibers you already have. Put it in your mouth and pull the trigger you uppity faggot.
>>32853856
A friend of mine used to have one of those, he loved it. I'm not fully convinced of having a .380 for cc, I like 9mm as I own a few 9mm pistols already..
>>32850491
I got my LCP shortly before the LCP II came out.
I'm considering getting one to compare them.
The II is bigger and uglier but I want to compare the triggers.
>>32850598
>and has safety
This is why I didn't want one.
>>32851647
The reset is what bothers me. I have to remind myself to let it all the way out to the second click.
>>32850095
>380
>teeny little pistol
get a load of this guy! hahaha get a .22 short you fucking mong.
>>32850095
I own a pico and carry it. Great for what it is. If you want the best sights of the bunch, get it. If you want the best trigger of the bunch-Don't. It's clean, but heavy, and you WILL need to practice with it.
It's as reliable as they come, shoots straight, and you CAN aim it for longer shots if you need to.
Tried the LCP. I won't be making the switch.
>>32850598
Pico:
Sights, locks back, no safety. Heavy trigger beats safety on a pocket gun.
