Is KommandoStore legitimate? Want to buy a fleck parka from them but I've heard of people getting gyped by them.
>>
You can buy items they have on hand with confidence. Just don't be a retard and preorder anything like the asshurt losers on here.
>>
>>32848199
Yeah they're fine

Ordered fleck pants from them once. Got the wrong size and Ivan exchanged them for me with no issues. Good experience, would shop there again.
>>
bought a shirt from there once

I have boots being shipped to me right now and have ordered a bunch of other shit from them in the past. Sometimes it takes longer than they say it will but I've never had any issues besides that. They've also been lenient in returns in my experience.

sage because thatguy is gonna show up and shit all over you

We're getting close to about 20,000 orders fulfilled, we've got a warehouse in MN you can come visit in person if you'd like. (2585 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, MN, 55113)

We do make mistakes from time to time: an order will get lost, or someone will get a different size of something... But there's quite a lot of people who can attest to the fact that we care a lot about making things right.

We're in a bit of an awkward spot right now (too much to do not enough people), but that should get resolved as we hire and train new guys in the coming month or two.

Also I recently double checked with Atlanco, we're still on track to start shipping Rhodie Mid-February. Should be an email going out soon.
>>
>>32848886

question for you,

how quality do those Austrian boots feel by hand and sight?

are they rothco monkey tier or could they get the job done if i were to actually go out and get dirty? theyre just so cheap so im paranoid, either way im probably going to get a pair just because they look cool as fuck

Well they're used for one, so the leather will be softer and less stiff than a new boot. The soles will also so some wear, but should have plenty of tread left.

Generally speaking I've found them to be well made--only really needing new laces and a coat of polish to get into wearing condition.

I should note (and I think this is on the site), many come with silver Xes drawn onto the toe. Those marks were added by the Austrians when surplussing them and come off with normal wear and/or a good buff and polish.

There are certainly better boots out there, these are not going to compete with your Gucci Merrell boots with Vibram soles, but they're very good value for the price.
>>
Ivan is a cool guy. Ordered stuff from them before with no issue on their part. Just remember that offensive box art doesn't sit well with USPS and they'll hold your fucking package for 3 weeks.
>>
>>32848886
Ivan I emailed you last night or the night before I think, my boots order isn't showing up on my account but I got billed for it. Not sure if that's an issue with the site or something

Yeah we've got you, it's a known bug with the store at the moment. We're hosted through bigcommerce and they seem to be concerned about it and escalating the matter.

In the mean time we're manually pulling the orders like yours (and although they may not be visible to you on the site) you should get shipping notification emails.

For future reference anyone needing help should email [email protected]. It may take up to a few days to get back to you, but once a ticket is open we WILL follow up.
>>
>>32848199
Actually ordering shit from them is cool, Ivan is generally a pretty solid guy when it comes to that.

They stuff that pisses people off is the bullshit they pull on their site, like the $140 per "museum grade" bakelite magazines or the Rhodie camo kickstarter and preorder bullshit they keep pulling.
>>
>>32848199
Solid guys. I once ordered Austrian pants and received a more expensive jacket instead. I offered to return it and they said to keep it. Other than that I've received everything I've ordered so far.
>>
>>32848199

Bought a pair of boots from them a few days ago.

Didn't get any confirmation email, and the order doesn't show up on my page. Sent in an email with no reply yet.

>>32849206
>>32849270

Seems to be like a common thing though, so I'm not all that worried about it.
However I've made two big orders with them in the pass, and they've all came in fine. The Parka was extra comfy and I wear it all the time when its raining out here, I ended up buying a second one.
>>
>>32849112

thank you very much for getting to me
>>
>>32849560

Forgot to add in, they also sent me a package with a bunch of pictures of dead tray-tray all over the box when they first started. The UPS man handed the package to me with a big ass grin.

When we first got that cart, there were quite a few rides. Same thing with the pallet jack, and uh the movable stairway, and now that I think of it... pretty much everything on wheels in the warehouse.

If I remember correctly, warehouse Ivan was wearing a Serbian Firefighter helmet at the time.

The little red cart is loaded up with something at the moment, but if you come visit we'll unpack and push you around.

>>32849560
Yeah I had a fit when I found out about the whole ghost order thing. I'm just glad there is a way to work around the glitch. Honestly I think it may be BC's integration with Stripe not pulling the right information back to confirm charges. We're going to switch payment providers soon anyway so it shouldn't be an issue regardless.

>>32849602
During training we pay minimum wage, but once people know the way around we've usually bumped to $10, and then $11/hr after a couple months.

Please do come visit (although call ahead of time to schedule with us.)

>>32849599
Gr8 b8 but whatever...
At no point, during any one of our 4 different ecommerce platforms have cards passed through our servers. We've always used an integrated and secure solution through PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, or the eProcessingNetwork.

nah i'm just a repeat customer who asked for funny shit on my order. I miss Faulkner in the gear threads. Do you know if he is just busy with his new job? some people were bullshitting about him being dead.
>>
>>32849747
Yes, but its not the priority at the moment

>>32849752
He was working with us in the warehouse at that time, that's why I said it looked like his. He's settled in and comfy at his new job, certainly not dead.

>>32849739
Super easy, you can do it through your bank or by calling the number on the back of your card. Of course they'll tell you to contact the merchant first as usually that whole process is annoying for them.
>>
>>32848199
Bought a few patches from them and they actually called me to make sure I got them. Would recommend.

Very reputable. I've made $400-500 worth in orders from the Kommando Store. Never had a single problem. They've also given me so much free shit. From free shirts, to ballistol to all natural tree gum!

Ivan is fucking dope and I highly recommend the KS. Never been disappointed in any of my orders from them!
>>
What about GreyShop?
>>
>>32849862

Fucking why?? What problem did you have with the KS?

People either LOVE KS or absolutely hate them.

The only thing I've seen them do wrong is maybe overcharge on a couple items that could be found on eBay for $5 less. That's about it.
>>
>>32849921
I shopped from there.
They were a little slow to ship, but nothing on them apart from that.
>>
I've bought stuff from them before. Came a few days late, but it isn't like I paid extra for super fast shipping.

Got my self some patches and other random shit. Wouldn't mind ordering stuff from them again.
>>
>>32849862

ordered a backpack once and it took like 3 fucking months to arrive

coworkers made fun of me for the love notes written all over the delivery box

Got a lower from them, even if I paid 25-40$ more than I should have for an 80% lower.
>>
>>32848199
I've made a few orders with them, I'm waiting on one right now actually.

I've also corresponded via email and talked with em on the phone, they always seemed like decent folks.

I like the information they give, like fully explaining different size charts, etc. Some other website I was looking at was selling fleck parkas as small medium or large. KS completely explains exactly how the Bundeswehr sizing system works, and I picked out a parka that fit perfectly.

Of course, I've got a soft spot for supporting small businesses. By the way, anybody shopping for knives/cutting tools check out Baryonyx.com

If that were true, than why hasn't anyone reported them for fraud? Why have they been going on for years?

Have you ever had any unauthorized purchases made with your card?

I haven't. And even if I did, it takes two seconds to call your credit card company and to report it. Once that's done, they refund you and launch an investigation of there own -- which when happened enough, would result in the fraudulent company being shut down.
I bet you also run around telling everyone, "lmao bet im on a gubmint watch list, fuckin gumint collecting our INFOZ."

With such paranoia, I'd assume you've never use Google, would never touch 23andMe, don't own an email, do not own a computer, do not own a credit card, do not own a phone, do not pay for a house/apartment, are a MUH SOVEREIGN CITIZEN, etc.

You stupid fuck, lmao
