ILfag here. been carrying a folding knife of one sort or another since i was 8yrs old but i was always told it was illegal to carry a fixed blade.
on the radio today i heard that it was legal to carry a cane with a concealed dagger if you had a concealed weapons permit (which i do)
does this cover fixed blades?
i've looked some stuff up but legalese is impossible for me to understand because i'm retarded.
any help is appreciated

What state? Knife carry laws vary greatly from state to state and even by county.
I live in NJ where we have some of the most restrictive laws. But it does not limit most reasonable folders.
