Watch videos of how to hold and shoot a handgun. I grew up never shooting a handgun and after just a thousand rounds of 9mm I can drill a bottle every time at 30 yards.

My dad still refuses to hold a handgun right and cant hit shit, stop free styling your grip.

Look up "thumbs forward grip" and "weaver" or the "isoceles" stances. Either works but it makes a huge impact if you force yourself to do it every time
