My friend said he could make a gun out of a nail gun, I called him a twat.
How fucked am I?
>>32813003
No way, those are illegal in your country
>>32813003
all you can do with that is removing the air pressure safety to actually launch nails
so basically you ... nailed him on his bullshit
>>32813003
Pic related is a .22 SMG that fires 420 rounds per minute.
>>32813017
What kind of IRA bullshit is that?
>>32813010
Yes! I am the champion!
Can you even remove the safety on a nail gun?
>>32813009
Ha. I win.
>he say this here is the cadillac. he mean lexus but he ain't know it
>>32813022
>What kind of IRA bullshit is that?
Just something an 80-year-old Finnish engineer built for himself.
>>32813022
>What kind of IRA bullshit is that?
That was made by senile and demented Finnish engineer who thought he was developing a new weapon for FDF. He actually brought it to police station himself to show it off once it was ready.
>>32813003
He's going to build a gun out of one and shoot you with it just to prove his point. There's nothing stopping him from building a pneumatically powered bolt and attaching a chamber and barrel to it.
>>32813024
Okay.
>>32813027
Ah, so not the IRA. The IRA would probably shake his hand if they got a hold of that shit.
>>32813032
So, basically, a guy who took "improvised" to heart?
>>32813058
I call bullshit.
>>32813070
Bullshit on what? The driver nail on nail guns could very well act as a firing pin. You'd need a chamber with an ejection system attached to the front and ensure the rear is reinforced enough for the pressure of .22, with a good seal around the nail, then attach a barrel to that system and you're good to go.
Like a normal nail gun? No.
But powder-actuated nail guns on the other hand are already actual guns.
>>32813122
This scene pissed me off so much, I was working as a crate builder at the time and used nail guns day in and day out. THEY DON'T WORK WITHOUT AN AIR COMPRESSOR HOOKED UP TO THEM!
>>32813136
>CO2 cartridges don't exist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOZpy55U-jY
You are fucked boi
>>32813097
on him being able to do it. He's a stupid wanker.
>>32813121
Luckily he can't tell the difference because he's a twat.
>>32813122
I always wondered why he wouldn't use something a little less suspicious. I think if I found a corpse with nails in the back of its head, I would be a bit worried about the one fella with a suit who has a nail gun.
>>32813165
Luckily, he doesn't have a rifle to shoot nail gun blanks out of.
>>32813148
Pollution, mate.
>>32813177
>Pollution, mate
>dragging an air compressor innawoods
>>32813185
Carbon warfare, lad.
>>32813010
Nail gun in op pic is battery powered. No air hose needed
>>32813148
You'd need one hell of a cartridge to operate a Nailgun.
Also, that one he has is a standard nailgun ya tard.
>>32813136
Some do. However this one needs air. Paslode impulse, dewalt and a couple others make non pneumatic nail guns
>>32813003
No, that's a pneumatic nail gun. Operates off air pressure, there is no barrel. You would need a powder actuated nail gun.
>>32813003
lube son, this is gonna smart

>>32814502
Dear God.
>>32813136
Well remember that this was probably just in his head cause he didn't actually kill anybody.
>>32813003
>be me, an engineering consultant
>walking around site with client
>talking to contractor with a nail gun
>client picks it up and puts against a board, wrrrrrrr...BANG
>client apparently wonders if you can trick it into firing and presses the front, all whilst having it aimed at my head
>wrrrrrrr NO YOU IDIOT
>contractor takes power tool off client
>most modern nail guns need to be pressed against something to fire

You can carry a small CO2 cylinder with a fixed pressure regulator if you feel in the portable naily mood. I use a 200psi Western fixed pressure regulator for powering other pneumatic tools that way. Common and often insanely handy.
