So /k/
What cartridge is good for beginner, got cheap bullets, have many guns to choose from, and with good enough stopping power?

9mm for a handgun
5.56 for a rifle
12 gauge for a shotgun

I have two weapons,
first one is Tikka T3 bolt action, chambered in .223 rem (5.56 basically)
>Big initial costs, but cheap shooting for ~300m
Second is CZ75B New edition, 9mm
Cheap to buy, but you go through ammo a lot faster
What about .22LR
that shit looks like it's plenty
>>32802463
Well all cartridges have there pros and cons. 9mm for pistol .223 for rifle

Fpbp
>stopping power
>>32803019
20 gauge for a beginner
>>32803038
Nah nig
12 gauge.
Light loads yo
>>32803038
>20 ga
Low recoil 12 gauge exists. Besides, the lighter weight of the 20 gauge shotgun means that the difference in felt recoil is negligible.
Just get a 12 gauge and use low recoil loads until you learn how not to be a bitch.

I cant let this go. Good enough stopping power for what? Ants? Hippo?
>>32802463
That depends on what youre shooting at
