9 years ago when I was building my first AR, I sold my Savage .270 hunting rifle for $400 to put towards the AR. My father bought me the Savage for my 12th birthday, and I killed a lot of deer with it. I regretted it almost instantly, but the regret didn't outweigh the joy I got from the AR. When my father passed away 2 years ago, I got so emotional over selling that rifle that I completely lost it. It was the irrational regret that I latched on to after losing my Dad.

For you younger guys on here; It's true what they say, never sell a family firearm, or any that you Dad gave to you/left to you. You will see a day when you live to regret it.
