Just picked up one of these in .22, will this be good for shooting rats? What do I have to do to the open sights so they'll work at night?

Should be good for close range pesting. Use lightweight wadcutter pellets if you want to minimize property damage. I'd put a shitty $20 Chinese red dot on it and call it a day.

They're excellent for that. Get some scope intermounts and put on a dot sight, or mod it with a longer barrel. You can customize these like crazy.
