Poor college guy here. Need suggestions on adequate body armor for around $120 a plate. Level II? Level III? Thank you in advanced.

I try to stay away from AR500/steel based body armor, the weight and potential to be penetrated by faster 5.56 rounds isn't worth the cost trade off to me. But of course it's not likely I'll ever need it. http://www.rmadefense.com/Level-IV-Hard-Armor.asp

Damn I've been thinking about getting plates just to sooth my itch to have the rig with plates. This looks like one hell of a deal and perfect for an entry level set. I have ar15 & Glock stuff I also want to buy so this would be what I consider the frivolous expense.
