What kind of tactical boots does /k/ recommend?
It's important that they are waterproof.

5.11 Atac 6" is absolutely god tier. I'm wearing it right now, working as an EMT, and both of my partners for today wear the same boot. It's slushy as shit and wet outside today, and I've stepped in all kind of shit, and they've stopped everything. I have the side zip version, my partner right now doesn't.
10 outta fucking 10

I have these in zip side as well and can attest to them being fantastic boots. Honestly though my Bates boots (I can't remember the name but basically the Bates competitor to the Atac's are just as good an a little more comfortable. I don't think they come in zip side though. Honestly the only reason I didn't buy another pair is because I found the Atac's on sale and they were like $25 cheaper. I'm a copfag and wear the Atacs every day and they are great.

I have their 8" storm boots and hands down the best buy I have ever made, I've had blood, water, sand dust dirt you name it and they have held up to every challenge. Had them nearly three years and still going strong.

I don't get it
Update: I just stepped in a puddle that's deep enough to go over the top of my atacs, and my foot is still dry. Boot seems good too. Hospital should fucking fix their emergency room entrance
The only pair you'll ever need.

Moabs are the only boots I've seen wear out inside before the outside showed anything major. Merrel is not the brand they used to be even three years ago. The new kings are Keen, Oboz, Salomon, Lowa, and Vasque.
Who hear wears blundstones? Wondering if they hold up to tactical use.
Facts:
>Official boot of Australia
>Incredibly comphy and easy to put on/take off
>rated for extreme work conditions - extreme heat and chemical rated (some are)
>Did I alreay mention comphy?
Haven't seen any mention of them being used in combat, though.

DISPARAGING THE BOOT IS A BOOTABLE OFFENSE
I have a pair of Original SWATs, they're pretty nice and the waterproofing is good.

The best tactical boots are non tactical boots
because tactical boots are shit and aren't as good as non tactical ones
Any recommendations for hot weather boots that don't look autistic?
I can only find airsoft tier military 8 inch.
Bonus if they have composite toe.
Asking to not shit up the catalog.
Tried the Salomon GTX quest in a shop and they were compressing my feet, seems like they aren't made for large ones.
And they are made in asia, not in France. Certainly not worth the price they are asking for.
I am still using my Lowa Carmino GTX, they are clearly intended for trekking with that bright orange color, but it's holding well, really comfortable, and actually made in Germany.
Corcorans, at the advice of a friend who rucks 20 miles a week in them for fun. I'll never buy another boot.

salomon or lowa

got a pair of the classic browns for reenacting
breaking them in was a royal pain in the ass, but now that they are, I love em
shitton of ankle support
only problem, they're realistically too heavy and a civilian hiking boot beats them for actual use

My nigger
But arent they like 700 or more?
