Opinions on the M&P 2.0? I liked the full size M&P 9 but haven't shot this one yet.
Saw the IV8888 review and since Chad didn't take the shill S&W armorers course unlike Eric, I trust his opinion. He didn't seem too thrilled about it. Apparently, it still has a shitty trigger and not much has changed mechanically.

That is disappointing.
shot one today, it's great. the texturing is awesome, trigger is very nice. fits original holsters, backwards compatible with sights/magazines so instant aftermarket support.
might pick one up but will probably try the CZ P10C first.

OP here. I'm lefty. it had a mag release on both sides right?
>>32741175
the (metal)mag release can be switched to the right side. the P10C has buttons on both sides due to the notch being located on the front vs. the side.

I own an original M&P 9, wish I could get the new trigger in mine as I don't like the new grips.

Just Apex your shit up desu. WAAYYY better than anything that's gonna come out of the SW factory
>>32742749
do you recommend the full overhaul? Is it possible to do without a gunsmith?
>>32742800
Apex FSS is the only way to go, dont need a gunsmith either.
>>32742995
FSS is pretty God-tier. Mine was unreliable as fuck after I installed it though, so I ended up adding the RAM and making a tiny bit more room in the trigger hole for the trigger to go forward. The sketchiest part is if you have to dick around with the loop on the trigger bar, but even that isn't too bad.
Also if you have a pre 2011/2012 M&P make sure your sear housing has a 1/8" spring and plunger vs the 1/16" they originally used. New housing blocks can be had for like $30 as well from Brownell's

Mine was literally perfect.

The "improvements" seem half assed, wtf those useless baby cocking serrations.
trigger's better, grip texture's better. there's actually a reset now.
>>32743192
Yeah mine was one of the older ones before they even designed the kit, so idk if that had anything to do with it.
Any anons have experience with the apex fit barrels?

I know it's probably a meme, but that 4 thou unlocking by stock, and a claim that ~$300 of parts and install "typically" makes your M&P mechanically capable of 1" at 25 yards is pretty good.

I actually just bought a 2.0, should be here next week. I fucked up my ffl selection so its getting returned to sender. Zzzzz
