The straight blade makes me think bayonet, but the French bayonets don't have straight hilts

It looks like a stainless steel fairbairn-sykes pattern knife with a cast handle

Probably Pakistan or China and it'll break the first time you try to use it. An authentic blade of that design wouldn't be so shiny this many years later.
I found it in a military canteen with suits, and ammo from my uncle. He hais been in french army in mid 70s.
