i have x2 shotfuns but they are kinda lacking in the fun department. How can i have more fun with them or should i try a different gun?
So far i have SXP Extreme Defender and Remington 812 both 12 guage....

my remington 1100, with 10 shot tube. we proto saiga.
Mossberg 590A1, because it's my only scattergat.
I want a MAG-7 and 1897 Trench Gun but I don't feel like I'd shoot them enough to justify the cost.
>>32695365
Norinco makes a 1897 Trench Gun
>>32694833
Anything that can slamfire.
My model 12 is dated for 1914 but some old fudd put a poly choke on it in the 50s.
Got it for 200$.She aint pretty but goddam she shoots good.

Don't have pics but I have a 1909 winchester 1897 take down...
the thing is a fishing pole with its 30" Idk
>>32694833
That I own? Probably my winchester 97. It's old and beat to shit, but you just can't beat a shotgun with a hammer
I also love the marlin 1896. Would have bought one if I didn't already have my 97
>>32694833
Benelli Supernova
>>32694833
Just bought one made in 41. 30'' barrel with a nice patina. Took it apart and there is absolutely no wear on the barrel or magazine. The breech face looks as clean as the day it was made. Never know what you'll find in a pawn shop.
You can get a IAC 1897 Trench Gun for like $400 brand new
>>32695456
I have a 97 from 1909 too. Thing that sucks it the guy before butchered the shit out of it when he made it a 16ga. Receiver is nice, but everything else is marred up.
>>32695556
>16ga
>converted a 1897 to 16ga
You are west EU/french don't you?
>>32695498
good choice.
>>32695456
I got a 1908 1897
Just bought this model 12 magnum for 500 dollaroos
One of the sexiest guns I own
>>32695586
Nope, US, South Louisiana of all places.
>>32695498
>>32695594
Mein benelli nigras
>>32695670
That one is definitely lookin' good, what year
>Winchester M12 is the sex
>>32695387
>>32695365
You called?
>>32695670
Nice. I've got grandpas M12. It is WAY more worn. That one looks practically new compared to mine/gpa's.
>>32695333
1100's are sexy as fuck.
I had to regas mine to work with a short as fuck barrel, But being a machinist has its perks.
>>32694871
Shoot skeet, shoot cans, shoot cardboard, shoot birds, shoot watermelons, shoot dindus, shoot kebabs, etc...
>>32694833
Stoeger Coach gun. Except for that double defense abortion.
>>32694833
>Not being ambidextrous
What type of primitive being are you?
>>32696586
1959
>>32697729
Niceee, it looks good, the ones from the 50s are beauties
>>32695309
Please stop waving your marlin model 55 dick around. It's killing me that I missed my chance on one.
>>32694833
My Stoeger Condor. Not even joking.
Looks pretty good for a poorfag O/U and it's just heavy enough to shoot all day very comfortably while not being heavy enough to handle badly. Not to mention the length of pull couldn't possibly fit me better.
My favorite, and only, shotgun. A Remington 1187, that I got for about 400 bucks. It was "used" with maybe 2 boxes of shells ever put through it before I got it. It was a steal, essentially.

Hi 1100 bros.
Pic is actually my father's, and he's going to want it back soon, so I've been looking at getting a semi-auto of my own.
Any recommendations? Trying to stay under $2k. Will mostly be used for clays, but want something I can bird hunt with in case I get the chance. I also prefer wood furniture.
Tried the A400, wasn't impressed. Didn't feel as smooth, and I think it's due to how light it is since I'm used to the 1100. Also didn't like how far I had to put shells into the mag to get it to catch.
Was looking at the Montefeltro Silver, anyone have experience with inertia guns?
Are the Mossberg FLEXs worth it?
I'd like to have a modular shotty for both home defense and hunting that I can alternate between, but the I hear the 590 doesn't support any swapping unless I replace shit like the forend bars and a threaded barrel for chokes.
>>32700041
Clays your going to want gas operated if you are shooting 100+ like I was. I recommend the browning silver. Simple, easy to clean and stays clean due to the self adj gas piston and field strips in less than a minute
>>32694833
i want one sooo bad but i cant find one thats not over 800 dollars.
plus my lgs cant get any i have to resort to the ones on gunbroker that show up once every six months
>>32701122
Local cabelas has them for 300 used, granted they are not in the best of shape but they are operational
I want a Saiga 12, Benelli Nova, and Winchester 1897 but right now all I have is a Remington 870 memegun that I'm going to sell
>>32694833
>How can i have more fun with them
2 things...
what >>32696722 said, shotgun sports are super fun.
And my solution was to buy a vepr12, didn't really give a damn about shotguns before. Then I shoot weekly trap/skeet in the summer months.

<$300 for a Remington 870 Police Magnum.
O/U gets my dick so fucking hard.
I have more sensible options but I'd probably bring my 686 if SHTF just because it's my favorite gun.
>>32702882
Does it come with rust on it right out of the box?
>>32703107
>not appreciating "added value"
>>32702882
>>32703107
you know remington QC is bad when the Chinese companies make better 870s than the 870s remington makes
Get a semi shotty. Lots of noise and scattered fun
Shotguns more like memeguns.
>>32703192
sxs a coach gun supreme?
Got a cut down maverick I am trying to get rid of and a 1987 police trade in 870 magnum.
Too many wants in related to shotguns.
>Fudd Ithaca 37
>beat to fuck 37 with plain stock and corn cob forend could chop to riot length and not cry about
>single shot 12 gauge
>sXs
>Rhodesian Auto 5
>bolt action 12 gauge
>870 police folding stock
Used market is a fucking joke so main reason I don't have the cheap shit like the single shots,sXs and bolts
Only unobtainable thing would be the rhodesian auto 5.
mossberg 500 that I got at a local gun store for 170 bucks
rul nice, I like it a lot. Actually the first gun I ever bought
>>32703263
It's their coach gun, so whatever their actual name for it is yes.
vepr12 hands down.
Funny thing is at the trap/skeet range, it's had less problems than the pump/break actions I would have always assumed would be far more problem free than a semi auto.
I've had 3 rechamberings of empty shells on the last round over the years of heavy shooting. The BHO must increase friction just enough that it can occasionally keep the bolt carrier from going back all the way on extremely light loads. Then again, I let this thing get ungodly dirty between cleanings too. It'll even cycle old reloads fine that have all the other guys looking for a rod or truck antenna to force the empty shell from their chamber.
>>32694833
>What is /k/ favorite scattergat?
AYA No 2
I have Beretta and Browning as well
My short barrel shotgat
9.5" Bbl , 16.5" OAL
20Ga
I would eventually like it threaded for a choke for shits and giggles...also in hopes that a 20Ga suppressor hits the market for maximum stupidity.
It's worthless, it's fun, it's my favorite.
>>32704260
Worthless? Nah. Is that a 2+1 or a 3+1?
>>32704295
2 plus
>>32704295
Nah, they're pretty worthless.
>tfw no one will thread mine for chokes
>>32704302
Ever though of using that as a backpack gun?
Ive thought of getting one but the cost for a 3 shot was off putting. I think id just SBS an O/U
>>32704340
Any reason why they wont?
>>32704260
You're a mag conversion away from perfection... or maybe broken fingers when you try to pump.
>>32704366
No, these are actually hard to 'aim'. better off with 6 in 44, proly around the same weight. And as a shotgun they fucking suck. And I bought this when they were still 600 bucks, how much does a 3 plus cost today?
>>32704442
theres a reason those ones have fore grips off to the side....
>>32704366
First and foremost, it's NFA which almost no one will touch even if I only send the barrel.
Secondly, when they braze the magtube lug onto the barrel it heat treats it meaning the muzzle is much harder and it will rekt any tooling they use. Still gotta call americhoke and see if they'll try, but they're my last hope.
