Hey /k/, So I've been thinking about making some form of grenade launcher that fires something neat (so no rubber balls/airshit), but also nothing too dangerous (so no homemade 40mm HE). I was thinking flares maybe? any ideas?

you could always get an airshit M79/MGL and put in rifled inserts to have it fire TAGINN rounds. IIRC you can get smoke rounds, flash rounds, marking rounds and reusable practice rounds. The whole system is bretty expensive but it's cheaper than actually getting a DD.
