I'm a little bit short-sighted, so I'll use them if I'm taking my time and aiming at something far away, but other than that, I don't use them much. Maybe when I'm driving long distances, standing navigational watch, or I'm spending time in poorly lit places, as I find they make my eyes tire less quickly.

I'm not sure what my prescription is but I can't read street names on signs when driving and have no depth perception at night.
broke my last set of glasses two weeks ago and have been shooting twice since. I can still roll cans easily at 25 yards with a pistol but sometimes they get turned a weird angle and disappear.
fairly confident in my ability to defend myself with my pistol, without shooting up everything around me. that said, I have an eye appointment Thurs.
