SP101 2 inch. Recoil is less than average for .357 but the muzzle blast is massive. I've seen some gel tests for it, penetrates to 12 inches and beat IIIa armor even in .380 ACP

I carry Hornandy Critical Duty +P .45 ACP 220 grain, and they seem to cycle well. They're about $1 a piece.

I was thinking about moving up to .45 Super, since my USP can take those. But they don't seem very common. Should I go for it and get the extra 100fps, or is it pointless? I heard somewhere that .45 Super has similar or better ballistics to 10mm

I've been reloading it and it is what 45 ACP should have been
Buffalo bore makes the loads you want, and you can run it stock out of a USP

For reference, I'm pushing a 265 grain hardcast out at about 994 fps.

These. when Lucky Gunner did their ammo comparisons a few years back they had some of the best expansion and most consistent penetration on their list of 9mms.

Though I also carry 124 gr HSTs and 115gr Critical Defenders. and believe both to be adequate.
