SP-01 Orange with grip reduction and a high cut.
Internals are all polished and it has a 3.5lb trigger pull with very short reset.
Factory checkering removed flats are polished and frame and slide are blued.
Slav shit is still shit, hornback

Holy shit, I didn't know they made SP01s with blued finishes. Id buy one in a heartbeat if I could find one.
>>32662884
They don't I did it myself.
>>32662988
Oh very cool. Howd you do it? How intensive of a process was it?
>>32662988
And it looks like shit. You grips look like cold war era slav shit as well. You gun effectively looks like a mutated Makarov.
I'm not really partial to CZs but the gun looks good, OP, especially for doing it yourself. Good work.

Was an apprentice gunsmith in the CZ Custom shop so I got to play with all the stuff there and worked on this guy before I quit.
Took about 12 hours of work total. Had to sand the sides and hand polish which always takes a while. It's actually more of a brushed finish because I got lazy but I still like it.

Thanks.

In school. Gonna be a Chemist.
>>32663356
A real chemist, or one of those european guys who is actually a pharmacist?
Also if you are the former, you better put your knowledge to good work making better gunpowder.
>>32663356
This >>32663386
make cool /k/ shit with your knowledge Chemanon
>>32662830
I remember the older thread you made.
what can i do to make my stock SP-01 trigger better?
i'd like a lighter pull and less reset.
>>32663386
>A real chemist, or one of those european guys who is actually a pharmacist?
I want to be a Physical Chemist and am getting a minor in Physics to back this up. Organic and Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry isn't really my thing I prefer to play with laser.
Gunpowder is something I want to play with later in life but I want to do other things first.

On a stock SP-01 not a whole lot without swapping out parts or stoning down some things which I feel takes ruining a few before getting it right. (at least it took a few for me to get right)
Take out the trigger bow and polish the outer flats that ride along the inside of the frame is the easiest thing you could do with out much risk.
>>32663550
are the SHadow trigger bits compatible or should i not even bother?
>>32663610
They should be the same if I remember correct.
>>32663610
CZ's gain so much from a real trigger job and after market parts you should send it in for one.
>>32662830
That's one nice looking piece of Czechnology, anon.
>>32662830
is that 3.5# DA or SA?
either way... holy shit do want. the grip reduction and high cut unfortunately makes it USPSA Production illegal though
>>32663947
ty
>>32664024
3.5 SA
Its possible to go lower but with the reset as short as it is I feel like it would be dangerous.
>>32664098
have you seen a Shadow 2 yet?
>>32664248
Yeah I went by the shop to visit and they let me finger fuck one of the 4 that were currently in the states.
>>32664267
thoughts?
>>32664285
It's cool and the factory checkering is actually good and feels nice in your hand compared to the original garbage checkered square.
I found it a bit hard to rack the slide back because of the new angle on the slide+new slide serrations.
The one I played with had some fancy new finish on it that the custom shop guys were worried about because no one in the US could reproduce it but have since heard that this finish got dropped and the shadow 2s will come with traditional CZ finish's for some reason.
Overall great gun but I wouldn't buy one if you have an original as it's just not that much better.
