Just to be clear the pic is a P229. The P226 will be longer. It's a great gun though. The Stainless Elites have steel frame which I consider a nice upgrade from the standard aluminum frames. The heavier weight gives it a really nice feel while shooting.

If you do plan to carry I'd get the P229 Stainless elite. I carry my P226 MK25 sometimes but its difficult unless I'm wearing a jacket.

Look into the S&W J-frame 357. Ultra carry gun

I'd second this, if you want to carry IWB. The stainless Elite line is nice (I have a 220) but they are heavy for carry guns.

Same here my dude. I got a Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster for my Mk25 when it's colder and I'd highly recommend it if you like carrying it.

This as well, my P226 Mk25 and P220 Stainless Elite are my two favorite handguns to shoot at the range out of the 10 I have, they're definitely enjoyable.

It'll be a solid buy that you'll enjoy/will last forever imo. I'd recommend it.
