Mobility is super fucking limited. It's not too comfortable either once the AC system breaks down.

Plus side though, a buddy ran up on me unexpectedly and jumped/double leg kicked me in my back while I was in one and I only stumbled a little, like if you were just shoved from behind. It really absorbs a lot of energy.

Limited mobility.
The collar locks your head forward so no whiplash.
Its 40kg of extra weight but only bends in some directions so getting low or getting into confined spaces can be difficult.
The frontal plates are rated and the rest is heavier protection than bodyarmour but primarily to the direct front. On the approach and departure you try to keep front on for that and the head forward issue and then back out to keep the plates forward.

Actual bulletproof suit weight 62kg. STANAG Level 2 protection of head (front), neck, torso (both all around) , legs and arms from front. Shrapnel protection everything else.

Flak jackets do NOT protect from bullets nearly as well as a plain kevlar vest. It's a similar fallacy to the idea that bulletproof vests and stab vests are interchangeable.
